Kia
EV6 Standard Range RWD
Overview
The Kia EV6 Standard Range RWD is a leader in the EV market, offering impressive range that minimizes reliance on public charging networks. Its single-motor configuration not only delivers efficiency but also ample power making it an excellent choice for the discerning EV buyer.
The experience with public charging stations for electric vehicles can sometimes be less than ideal. This is where the Kia EV6 Standard Range RWD steps in, offering a solution that gives you increased range, reducing the need to frequent these charging points. This advantage becomes even more pronounced when opting for the single-motor variant, which we have had the pleasure of testing in its GT-Line trim level.
In 2023, the EV6 lineup offers three distinct powertrains. The previous base Light model with a 58.0-kWh battery pack and a 167-hp motor has been phased out. Now, the standard offering is a single-motor version with a substantial 77.4-kWh battery, delivering an impressive 225 horsepower in both the Wind and GT-Line trims. These trims are also available with all-wheel drive and dual motors that churn out a total of 320 horsepower, once again powered by the hefty 77.4-kWh battery. For those seeking an adrenaline rush, there’s the newly introduced dual-motor GT variant for 2023 boasting a whopping 576 combined horsepower.
With this extensive array of options available, potential buyers can find their perfect match within the EV6 range. Whether you’re an urban commuter or a speed enthusiast, there’s a Kia EV6 designed to meet your needs while reducing your carbon footprint.
